THAR DESERT, RAPTOR CITADELS & GREAT INDIAN BUSTARD EXPEDITION
This premier arid-zone expedition charts an authoritative transect across the hyper-specialized ecosystems of the Thar Desert, linking the saline depressions and open savannah grasslands of Tal Chhapar with the massive raptor congregations of Jorbeer, the historic crane feeding spectacles of Khichan, and the rolling sand dune sanctuaries of Desert National Park. Designed specifically for serious international wildlife photographers and birders, this itinerary is engineered to deliver exceptional observation windows for critically endangered arid endemics, apex desert carnivores, wintering birds of prey, and specialized reptiles.
By connecting multiple restricted-access grasslands, vulture dining grounds, and fenced bustard breeding corridors across Western Rajasthan, this route unlocks some of the most dynamic predator-prey dynamics in the Old World. Managed entirely offline, every phase is supported by veteran master naturalists and native spotters who track sand trails, roosting colonies, and waterhole feeding arrivals. Utilizing private high-clearance safari vehicles and handpicked buffer-zone desert eco-camps, we provide an uncompromised, world-class tracking experience.
